"Journal & Chill" Workshops: Where feelings and imagination turn into play

Let’s be honest, being a kid right now is kind of a lot. Between the pressure at school and the constant "always-on" world of screens, there’s not much room left for them to just... breathe. :) That’s why I started Journal & Chill. It’s not a class, it’s not therapy, and it’s definitely not another chore. It’s just a chill space for kids to hang out, get creative, and check in with themselves.

How it started

It all started with the InClouds. Journal. I wanted to create a space where the stuff inside the journal - the feelings, the big dreams, the messy thoughts - could actually be talked about in person.

Not your average workshop

The vision for Journal & Chill is to keep things fresh. The plan is to bring in guests, psychologists who actually get kids, artists who don't care about staying inside the lines, and teachers who love to play.

The goal? To help kids learn about their emotions and find their own creative voice in a way that actually feels fun. No lectures, just honest conversations and a lot of drawing and colouring.

Making "kind" the new "cool"

We’re also teaching them that being offline is a major flex. :) In our workshops, being present is what makes you cool. But the best part? Our workshops are humanitarian and proceeds from the tickets go directly to those who need a helping hand. It’s a small way for the kids to see that being kind and looking out for each other is a pretty cool way to live.
